Community Music Center
Community Music Center was founded in 1921 by Gertrude Field with the mission of making high quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, regardless of financial means. It is now a cornerstone San Francisco cultural institution and a vital hub for music education and performance anchored in the Mission District.

Jazz through the Afro-Latin Perspective with Erick Peralta
Bringing together his myriad musical experiences and influences, Peruvian American jazz artist Erick Peralta presents a program fusing jazz with Latin American folkloric traditions. The program will highlight original compositions as well as arrangements in tribute to some of the most iconic jazz and Latin composers from the 20th century, centering on an Afro-Latin perspective and interpretation of American jazz.
