Brightwork newmusic
Brightwork newmusic was founded in 2013 by pianist Aron Kallay. The mission of the 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation is to enliven and expand contemporary classical music with a focus on West Coast composers and performers. The members of our in-house ensemble, Brightwork, are among the best chamber musicians in the world. The ensemble strives to find new and exciting ways to connect with audiences in the United States and abroad by presenting friendly and exciting concerts in both traditional and non-traditional spaces.

Celebrate ten years of all things Brightwork. Brightwork Ensemble presents an eclectic program of music that has shaped their history together, including Eric Moe’s stunning microtonal masterpiece They Sang But Had Nor Human Tunes Nor Words.

Brightwork Ensemble – Tuesdays @ Monk Space – Project Beacon: join us to celebrate 10 years of Brightwork! Brightwork Ensemble presents an eclectic program of music that has shaped their history together.
Please note that in order to avoid conflicts with so many new music events as part of the CA Festival, this concert will be presented on a MONDAY.
The program will include a world premiere arrangement by Rajna Swaminathan plus works by longtime collaborators including Pamela Madsen and Adam Borecki.
